More Details

So what's so bad about being a common caterpillar? Just ask Hermie - orhis friend, Wormie - and they'll tell you. No splashy stripes. Nostand-out spots. Not even a cool house like the snail or super-strengthlike the ant. Compared to the rest of God's beautiful creation, they just feel ordinary. Unimportant. A little out of place. But God sees past their plainness, and plans an incredible surprise to show them just how special they are. Featuringthe voices of Tim Conway as Hermie and Don Knotts as Wormie, these caterpillars encounter a host of delightful characters and quickly wriggle their way into the hearts of young and old alike. But as the animation engages young minds, the truth of God's purpose and plan for His people touches their souls. It's a message of hope you'll want your kids to hear, and a fun-filled adventure that will keep them crawling back for more

The Story of Jackie Pullinger; The Law of Love
More Details

Twenty-two-year old Jackie Pullinger graduated as an oboe student at the Royal College of Music in England and then boarded a slow boat to China and prayed for guidance about where to get off. She ended up in Hong Kong. She began with no organization and no financial base, just an unshakable conviction that the same Jesus who helped and healed the hurting and hopeless can do the same today. This is a documentary about Jackie's work amid the drug-crazed vice and violence of the old Walled City in Hong Kong. She started a youth club for heroin addicts, gained the respect of the notorious Triad leaders who controlled the Walled City, and instituted the St. Stephen's Society for curing drug addicts. The cures are sought through prayer alone without any use of conventional methods. Her "patients" withdraw from drugs with none of the usual agony associated with "cold turkey." Her courage and strength shine through in this candid documentary that shows us humanity at the brutal edge of existence and how tenderness and love, accompanied by the Gospel of Christ, can transform lives.

Joseph - King Of DreamsBen Affleck, Mark Hamill, Rob LaDuca, Robert C. Ramirez
More Details

Joseph King of Dreams is a direct-to-video sequel advertised as "from the makers of The Prince of Egypt", a labelling that might inspire trepidation in the viewer. Happily, the makers of Joseph leave Moses alone and tell the tale of another Bible star, Joseph, known for his coat of many colours and a fantastic destiny. Joseph (voiced by Ben Affleck), his father's favourite son, is sold into slavery by his jealous half-brothers. After years of struggle, Joseph rises to be the Pharaoh's trusted adviser when his gift for interpreting dreams pays dividends. The 78-minute feature is rich in colour and features several strong songs ("Better Than I" is the standout) written by newcomer John Bucchino. The film's religious elements are secondary, yet its heart is in the right spot—a most agreeable stance for a wider audience. Prince was designed as an "event" movie and suffered in the hype and marketing. With lower aims, Joseph is a more satisfying film and even invites the unexpected: we're ready for the next "sequel". —Doug Thomas, Amazon.com
